Comprehensive Oral Exams

A thorough exam is one of the most important parts of maintaining your oral health. During the examination, Dr. Park conducts a complete visual and manual screening of the mouth, soft tissues, and lymph nodes — including screening for oral cancer.

For new patients, the first visit includes a full assessment. For existing patients, we recommend annual check-ups to catch any changes early. Preventive care is always the focus at London Dental.

Professional Cleaning (Scaling)

One of the most common things patients tell us is that other clinics rush through their scaling in 5 minutes. At London Dental, Dr. Park takes her time — every cleaning is thorough and unhurried.

Professional cleaning removes plaque and calculus (tartar) that daily brushing can’t reach. Regular cleanings are essential for preventing gum disease and maintaining overall oral health. Korean health insurance covers one scaling per year.

Gum Care (Periodontal Maintenance)

Periodontal (gum) diseases, including gingivitis and periodontitis, are serious infections that can lead to tooth loss if untreated. Treatment options depend on the stage and may include deep cleaning (scaling and root planing), medication, or referral for surgical procedures.
