Restorative Dentistry

Repair decay and damage to restore your teeth to full health and function.

Bonding & Fillings

Bonding uses tooth-colored composite resin to repair chips, cracks, gaps, or misshapen teeth. It’s one of the simplest and most affordable cosmetic procedures — usually completed in a single visit.

Fillings replace decayed or damaged tooth material. We offer:

  • Composite resin — tooth-colored, natural appearance
  • Dental amalgam — traditional, highly durable

Dr. Park will recommend the best material based on the location, extent of damage, and your preference.

Root Canal Treatment

Root canal treatment is needed when decay or trauma reaches the pulp (the living tissue inside the tooth). Left untreated, infection can spread to the surrounding bone.

Signs you may need a root canal:

  • Sensitivity to hot, cold, or sweets
  • Pain when biting or applying pressure
  • Swelling around the tooth
  • Persistent bad taste

The procedure: The infected pulp is removed, canals are cleaned and disinfected, then filled to prevent reinfection. A crown is usually recommended afterward to protect the treated tooth.

Non-Surgical Gum Treatment

Unhealthy gums compromise the foundation of your teeth. Scaling and root planing (deep cleaning) removes plaque and tartar from below the gumline, allowing tissue to heal.

Warning signs:

  • Gums that bleed easily or appear red
  • Persistent bad breath
  • Gums pulling away from teeth
  • Loose teeth or bite changes

Combined with improved daily hygiene, non-surgical treatment is often sufficient to control gum disease.
